At 34 days before my 40th birthday, I am interested in comfort more than ever! But wait! I’m not into compromising my style. I still want to be cute, lady-like and sexy! All of these components are VERY important to ME. Period.

From the last post, you learned that I love “Juxtaposed Fashion” (e.g. edgy with romantic or boho with classic, etc.). So it’s no surprise that my look featured today is a mix of Athletic/Leisure (hoodie), Chic (ribbed, fitted midi skirt) and Grunge (combat boots). I even borrowed a pair of my husband’s dress socks. How they almost perfectly matched my skirt is beyond me. I guess that just means we love some of the same colors!

You’re going to see a lot of Athleisure looks this season, so if you want to join in on the fun, take a lookie at some of my top picks below! You’ll notice that these looks also have a sprinkle of elegance…because to me, that’s the way to DO IT! Remember, the entire look may not tickle your fancy; the point is to take away the things that you DO like and make it your own.
